In order to get the e-tron ready for life in Canada, we carried out extensive testing in the Arctic Circle. During periods of extreme temperatures, range can be impacted, so our engineers wanted to ensure that the e-tron® is capable of taking on everything Canadian winters can throw at it.

One pedal driving
With electric energy recuperation, the e-tron can recover some of its battery energy when slowing down, recharging the battery on the spot and effectively braking the car. This allows for a 'one pedal' driving style.

On-board navigation w/ Charging station locator
Even with its impressive range, the e-tron always looks ahead. Using the onboard route planner recommends charging stops along your route and automatically updates when new charging stations become operational.
Tailor how you drive
Choose from three distinct driving modes to suit every journey. Go all electric for local trips and emission-free, switch to the gas engine to increase your range on long drives and use regenerative braking to recharge the electric battery, or use a combination of both for optimal performance.

Regenerative braking
Every time you brake while driving the e-tron, some of the energy is recuperated back into the battery - increasing your range. The strength of the recuperation can be adjusted using steering-wheel recuperation paddles. This means that the e-tron can recover some of its battery energy when slowing down, recharging the battery on the spot, and effectively braking the car.
Battery technology
Engineered for durability, safety, and driving dynamics, the Audi e-tron battery is covered by an 8 year / 160,000 km (whichever occurs first) limited warranty for added peace of mind.

In order to get the e-tron ready for life in Canada, we carried out extensive testing in the Arctic Circle. During periods of extreme temperatures, range can be impacted, so it is important to keep the e-tron plugged in as often as possible to help ensure the 95-kWh battery operates at maximum efficiency.

Battery capacity is like a conventional gas tank, but is measured in kWh or kilowatt hours versus litres. - Charge time
Charging times are generally referring to a full charge. The level of charging will be based on the maximum power output of the charging site, battery temperature, and state of charge required for the battery.
