Due to the extremely high voltage and amp service required for Level 3, it isn't possible to install one in a domestic residence. There are more and more Level 3 chargers coming online every day. It is possible to charge a battery from 0 to 80% in less than 30 minutes¹ using a 150 kW DCFC Level 3 station.

This level of charging is best left as an emergency substitute. It offers much less charging power than Level 2 and will charge an empty battery in approximately 100 hours.1

Audi e-tron models come standard with the Audi Charging System Compact which offers you a maximum of 9.6 kW of charging power. This unit will charge a completely empty e-tron battery in approximately 10 hour

This wall unit connects your vehicle to the electric power source in your home. It includes two interchangeable home power supply cables for Level 1 (NEMA 5-15 standard home electric receptacle) and Level 2 (NEMA 14-50 240V receptacle) plugs.
